Every time I go home I know what to expect. I turn in to the driveway and I see the house. The porch light is on. I know that when I go inside I am loved and accepted. I can expect to be warm, safe, and comfortable. There will be good conversation with the people I love.

We want to be able to share that experience with you.

With so much darkness in the world it's easy to feel lost in the darkness. The idea is simple. No matter how big, small, bright, or constant - be the light.

Jesus came to be a light in this world. He came to shine His light into the deepest, darkest reaches of our hearts. He gave us a beautifully impossible example to follow.

 

Each and every one of us can be a light that continues to shine and reflect His light.

 

Whether you are a disco ball, a candle's flame, a lighthouse's beam, a wildfire, a distant star, a blazing comet, or a firefly, you have a light that only shines in you. You matter. You belong. You shine.

 

You don't need a special qualification, calling, or title. You are already qualified. In fact, your light has been shining for far longer than you can imagine.
